Distinguish Me began in Lithuania in 2020 — not from a polished business plan, but from a real need to create something better. At first, we were exploring the idea of making cat scratchers, frustrated by how many pet products felt repetitive, poorly made or lacking character. But as the world changed during the pandemic, so did our direction.

When everyday pet essentials suddenly became difficult to find, especially with long delivery times and closed stores, we found ourselves facing the same problem many dog owners did: needing practical, reliable products and not wanting to settle for whatever was available. What started as a response to real life quickly became something more. First came the snood — a niche product we had barely heard of ourselves, but one that proved surprisingly useful when tested on our own dogs. From there, the collection grew naturally into collars, harnesses and leads, always guided by the same instinct: to create pieces with character, quality and a stronger point of view.

From the very beginning, we were demanding about materials, hardware and finish. Distinguish Me was never meant to blend in. It was built on the belief that every dog has its own personality — and the things they wear can reflect that too.
