Leaves, dirt, forest, snow and water – a dream for many long-eared dogs. After all, it is so fun to speed through fields with loose hair, especially in the forest. However, does the dirty and wet ears make the owner happy? Is it fun to pick out the remaining pieces of dry leaves and seeds from the fabulous fur? Do you enjoy brushing tangled ears out? Probably not. 😊
Snoods (ear muff) is an accessory that is a rapidly growing for all long-eared/long-haired dogs (although, these are also worn by dogs that do not belong to this description). They fully protect the ears making the maintenance easier: the fur does not crumble, does not tangle, hence why it is easier to brush. Additionally, snoods reduce the risk for ear infection. Only a plus. 😊
Ear muffs can be also worn not only outside, but also during feeding period (especially for raw food). Snoods protect the ears from dipping into the bowl (certainly no one wants food smell on the dogs ears) and accidental ear bite.

Waterproof, double Snoods – this type of snood protects from rain and snow, suitable for long walks or energetic activities (hikes in the forest, winter activities and etc.). These Snoods are made from high quality double layer fabric that does not contain any hard metals or other harmful materials that could have an influence on your pets well-being (OEKO – TEX). Double fabric Snoods are rigider and thicker than daily type snoods. That is why, when picking out this type of Snood for the first time, we recommend to choose with an adjustable strap (the upper strap stretch can be adjusted). Snoods with adjustable strap are suitable even then when you are not sure if the sizing will fit.
Waterproof, double Snood can be decorated with stripes: black and colorful stripe gives the snood distinguishability and individuality and reflector stripes bring visibility in the dark.
Waterproof, daily Snoods – this type of snood protects long ears from rain, snow and dirt, however contrary to the double fabric snoods, these ones are more suitable for daily walks (morning and evening runs, small walks around your living area, stroll through the city center, showcasing fashion 😊 ). These Snoods are made from the same material as double snoods, yet instead has one layer, are lighter and thinner. Daily type snoods can also have an adjustable strap on the top.
Feeding (polyester) Snoods – this type of Snood is very thin, light (do not weight more than 20g, (0.04lbs), has a very pleasant fabric, reminding of silk. This type we referred as feeding type due to easy placement on the ears (probably you are aware of the psychological status of the pets before feeding 😊 ).

Waterproof, winter Snoods – this type of Snood is made from soft material with a padding/warming. They are light, easily placed and can be produced with an adjustable strap.

If you are passionate about active relaxation in the nature: hiking or skiing, cannot imagine spending days without couple of hours in the forest, the weather is not an indicator, and your pet is an equal leisure partner – choose waterproof, double layer Snood. Long ears will be protected during hikes and short activities outside.
If the priorities are calm walks in the city or forest and during rain you only take the dog out for their usual duties, then choose the daily snood (easy to put on, protects from moisture, dirt).
Winter or flannel Snood we recommend having as an alternative one if you would like to dress up during winter period.
Cotton/linen Snoods – this snood is best during summer season. We recommend having it in the set with waterproof and winter snoods.
